When I say I know what you're thinking, it's true because .....
I started my first baby and toddler class business with no blueprint, no business qualifications or knowledge. I was a classically trained musician, Montessori Directress and Corporate Training Manager and I had no idea if it would work but I wanted to change career and earn money by working flexibly around our three little boys. At its peak, that business I built was running 40 classes a week plus birthday parties.
But this is what I'm most proud of. We have three sons and starting my own business meant I never missed a school play, a nativity or a sports day. I took them to school and picked them up. I stayed home if they were ill. I never worked during school holidays unless I chose to. Not once.
